7/3 - Greg, Landon, Kasey and I went to eat dinner at Main Street Burgers, then we went to the FC Dallas game and watched the fireworks. It was raining at the beginning of the game. We found an area that was covered and there was one seat at the top with a little area. The kids were climbing on the side and the chairs for a while. Kasey was pretty excited about the National Anthem and the drums and such. Staying there lasted about the first 18 minutes of the game. We spent most of the game walking around the stadium. We got a few small American Flags that they were handing out. We told Landon to say USA, USA. He liked that. Kasey was also very excited about having the flag. After the game there was a fireworks show. Kasey was not scared of the fireworks at all. We left a little early to beat traffic and Kasey was getting fussy. Landon was out pretty quick, and Kasey also fell asleep but much closer to home.
7/2 - Kasey ate hot sauce at Mexi-Go tonight. She really liked it until she got a hot bite. The other day I asked her if she wanted to draw with crayons or markers and she said marker.
6/29 - Landon had indoor soccer practice, and we had never been there because games and practices were while we were out of town. Landon was trying to tell me how to get there. He was pretty good describing the field, with blue surrounding (blow up tube to keep the ball in) and white goals. He told me it was by the door you went it.
6/26 - Kasey slept much so she actually went to be by 8pm. Landon stayed up later and there were fireworks in Allen that night for 4th of July celebration. Landon and I went to watch them. We found a road by a field where we stopped and sat in our chairs to watch. It was perfect view of them.
6/25 - Kasey was throwing a fit at bed time, and she got her leg up on top of the crib to try to get out. Her other foot stayed in the bed, but it was pretty close. Her bed has one side that is high and one side that is low so we turned it around to have the low side against the wall.
6/23 - Coming home. Kasey and my parents met us at the airport. Kasey seemed really excited to see us. We were definitely excited to see her. That's one of my favorite things to come out of customs area and see the kids faces when they see me. We took our car back to Grammy and Gramps and then went to get Landon. Landon was REALLY excited to see us. It wasn't clear while we were gone, but he had a tough time with us being gone. He really misssed us. He continually says that it's good to be home.
When we got back Kasey was saying a lot more words than when we left. Greg thinks it's because the grandparents don't know all of the signs, but I'm not convinced. She was saying stuck, truck, duck, and probably a few others as well.
6/9 - 6/23 - World Cup South Africa Trip - see separate post
6/13 - Landon is playing on an indoor soccer team (Galaxy) with Alfonso Lopez and Jase Vaut. The first practices and games were while we were gone. Landon seems to like it, and he scored a goal in his first scrimmage on the 13th and his first game on the 20th.
6/5 - Kasey got second hair cut as I got my hair done with Gil. She did pretty good.
5/28 - I got back into town from Israel about 9am. We went home and I showered and we packed everything for the weekend. Then we took Kasey to Gymboree class at 11:15. After that we picked up a quick lunch. Anita had picked up Landon from class and took him to a birthday party for one of the class mates. I went to pick Landon up at the party. Then we headed home, packed the car and drove to Conroe. We had a big family celebration for my cousins graduation, another cousin's 50th birthday, and my uncles birthday. They had a DJ there playing music and singing, and then at 10pm they had a Mariachi band come in the play. It was great. Several family members were singing and dancing. Two of my cousins did a special dance for my cousin Gary. We had a to leave early because the kids were pretty tired. Landon and Greg left early the next morning to get back for the tball game. Kasey and I stayed to go see Haley and Ashlyn's first dance recital practice. They did really well.
5/26 - I was still in Israel, but the Cubs tball team had pictures that night. After that 4 of the families went to the Rough Riders baseball game. The kids got to go on the field before the game.
5/22 - Crazy day. Landon had a tball game at 10am, I was co-hosting a shower at 11am, Landon had a birthday party at 1pm, I had a 5:20pm flight to Israel, and Greg, Landon, & Kasey went to taste of Addison with Doug. The kids got to go on rides, eat some good food and hang out.
5/21 - this was the last day that I breastfed Kasey. I was leaving the next day for Israel so we thought it was a good time to try and stop. I was only breastfeeding once at night.
5/20 - we had lunch today with Landon's teachers. We won this lunch at the AppleCreek Auction. Landon picked Justin to come with him. We went to McDonalds and the kids got to play and we ate lunch.
