We had several celebrations for Greg's birthday.

Kasey knows happy birthday - she sticks her 2 index fingers up and shakes them when we say happy birthday.

We went to Babe's with Grammy and Gramps to celebrate Greg's birthday on the 18th. The kids were not very good, but the food was. Grammy and Gramps took turns taking the kids outside to walk around. At one point it was just Greg and I at the table. We joked that it was date night. Then we went back to Grammy and Gramps house to hang out for a bit. We had fun playing Wii. The kids got a bath and jammies on and then we went home to put them in bed.

Monday we had dinner at Grandma and Pops house to celebrate. We had enchiladas which were really good. Grandma has a birthday elephant that plays the birthday song. Kasey loves it and wants to play it many times. This time the batteries were running low so it wasn't sounding so great. Then we hung out, the kids got a bath and we headed home to bed.

We didn't do a lot on Greg's birthday. Landon has soccer practice and then we ate left overs at home which were still good.

Saturday the 24th we had a 40th celebration party for Greg. We had several friends over. Landon was really excited to have his friends over for dinner. Especially Justin and Liam. The first part of the party was dinner with kids. We had about 35 people and about 14 kids. It was a little crazy, but I think everyone had fun. I got Chick Fil A nuggets for the kids and Tin Star for the adults. Then I made Greg's favorite dessert and some cookies for dessert. It didn't turn out as good as Grandma made it, but it was still good. After dinner and dessert the kids went outside to play soccer. Everyone got to see our new patio that we had put in last year.

Grammy came to pick up the kids to spend the night so we could have part 2 of the party.

After the kids left there were about 9 of us left and we had a wine tasting. We tasted some of our favorite wines that we had gotten on our Napa trips. I think we all enjoyed ourselves and got to have some good wine and good company.
